🛍️ What does ALM stand for?
Amazon Local Market, or Local Brands depending on where you look. Amazon does not document it publicly; it is the label the site uses internally for brands that sell with local delivery.
🌍 Which brands does it cover?
Around forty at last count, across twelve Amazon storefronts. Whole Foods and Amazon Fresh are the ones most people have used, but the list runs from Rite Aid in the US to Morrisons in the UK and Monoprix in France. Our blog post has every one we have found, with links.
🔀 Can someone load my basket at a different brand?
No. A Local Market basket belongs to the brand it was built at, so it loads into that brand or nowhere. Sharing across brands is not something Amazon allows.
🧩 Do they need the extension?
No. Local Market baskets load straight from the Share-A-Cart website.
