All they need to do is enter the Cart ID you've sent them on the Receive a Cart page. For all other retailers, the receiving person will need to install and use the plugin to load your cart. This makes the whole process quicker and easier though as they don’t have to leave the retailer’s site when loading your cart.

What’s the benefit of using the Share-A-Cart plugin over the website?

I use Share-A-Cart all the time to send a list to my secretary, so she can create a purchase order and order my items. The great thing about this site is that it includes amounts of each item. When I have shared a school 'wish list' before, it never allowed me to indicate if I wanted more than one of any item. I would have to include that in an email. Making the process more complicated and inefficient.

I use Share-a-Cart with the Whole Food for 7 menu planning service and Walmart. It has been the most amazing thing for being able to grocery shop without taking hours to plan. I love how my cart comes pre-loaded with every ingredient I could possibly need. I go through the Walmart cart and take out anything I already have. I am notorious for forgetting an ingredient here and there (thank you, ADHD) and this service has helped me have all the ingredients handy for the week without anxiety!
